Hello,
I don't have the invoice for our Development system or any specifications. I guess that it is a GraphicsMaster since we got a GraphicsMaster User's Manual with it. I dont find any product revision number starting with 170110-9000x on the underside of the board.
My problem is that I upgraded this thing from ce to ce.net and I don't know if the memory is set up right. The controlpanel->system properties->Memory shows 5120 kb storage and 10968 kb memory. Just about all of it is used.
I see 2 chips in slot U37 on the board that say 32M on them. Does that mean I have 64Mb ram?
My original .hwt file said: 0xA110C401 0x00A00000 ; 10MB 0x00B002AD 0xC8600000 ; 10MB CE, 32MB RAM
My current .hwt file says: 0xA110C401 0x00F00000 ; 15MB 0x00B002AD 0xC8100000 ; 15MB CE, 32MB RAM
I need to know if I can go to the 15MB CE, 64MB settings or if I need to buy more memory.
I can provide other info if necessary.
thanks, Tom Dorgan.

Tom,
First, you might want to look again for the part number on your board. It's not on a sticket or silkscreen, it's actually in the copper.
Determining actual RAM is best done by looking at the physical DRAM installed on the board. Each is stamped with a number, which can be decoded as follows:
48LC4M16A2 = 8MB 48LC8M16A2 = 16MB 48LC16M16A2 = 32MB
Simply count the number of installed and multiply. Make sure you check both sides of the board, as some boards (like the GCPlus and Bitsy family) may have DRAM on both sides.

U22 is the socketed boot ROM. The sticker is indicating the part number of the boot ROM (190110-91052) which corresponds to version 1.79. This is a boot ROM for a Graphics Master with 32MB DRAM. |
