I've been told that CE.NET 4.1/4.2 requires that the processor use little-endian byte ordering. Is this true? Are there any byte order issues that I need to be aware of, say for transferring data between a 4.1/4.2 platform and a PC running 2K or XP?
Well, Intel-based machines are all little-endian, so unless you're going to be interfacing with some odd Win 2000 or XP boxes, you should be OK. And I think Windows itself is dependent upon little-endian, though that's possibly changed in XP.
