How do you change the DATA and Clock voltage levels from 3.3V to 5V? For the LQ64D343 Sharp Display. Reason for question...we are haveing excessive EMI problems with the current sharp display at 32, 62 & 92 MHz, and would like to try changing the voltage levels to see if EMI is reduced.
Hi emeier. From your other posts, I guess you're using a Bitsy?
You can change the voltage of the buffers by moving a surface-mount shunt from one location to another. However the buffers installed on your Bitsy are only rated for the voltage that is set on your board. While they might work at 5V, it's not a good idea to run the 3.3V buffers at a higher voltage indefinitely. You also might get different EMI results with one set of buffers than the other.
In any case, we'd be glad to work with you to try to drop down the EMI you are experiencing. Contact us if you would like specifics of how to proceed with the modifications.
