I need to startup my application with the task bar hiden. If I set it to not "always on top" and not "auto hide" the task bar appears on top of the application dioglog window after it starts. How do I get it to remain in the backround?

Hi
Put your task bar in "always on top" and "auto hide".
So the taskbar will be hidden and only a little slide on the bottom of the screen is shown.
Click on this slide to get the task bar on the top.

My application need to have control of the system completely. The your can not gain control of the system by using the task bar. Is there a way to make sure the task bar can not appear. If I set the task bar to not "alway on top" and use the adsload.exe to start my application the task bar appears on the application at startup. I believe Windows CE puts the task bar up at the completion of it load even if the application is running.

Our applications completely hide the desktop/taskbar. If this is the result you also want, then I believe this is the registry key that does the trick. If not, let me know and I'll spend a few more minutes scrounging around.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Platform\BITSYX]
"LaunchCEShell"=dword:0

Of course, you will/may have to modify if you do not have the BitsyX.
