Hello,
In EU (European Union) is that soon(june 2006) forbidded to use lead in electronics and my question is that if you have any lead free replacement for Bitsy Plus ?

Great question. We're well aware of the new RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) regulations that are going into effect in Europe and are rolling our our current product line in RoHS-compliant format. Details and our roadmap are posted on our main site.

The Bitsy Plus and other StrongARM products cannot be made RoHS-compliant because the components themselves will not be manufactured in lead-free versions. However, the BitsyXb, the fourth-generation Bitsy-family product that features the PXA270 and will be RoHS-compliant, should serve well as a replacement.

Contact ADS Sales for details about how to transition to a RoHS version of the BitsyXb.
