I noticed that this version was supposed to fix some issues with the serial port, what were the issues?

I seem to be having an issue that could be serial related that I was not having in 4.20.5.

I think the issue was that one of the COM ports wouldn't show up because the of an issue in the registry settings.

What are you experiencing?

It seems that some of the time the data I am writing to com 2 is not getting through to the device connected to com 2. This happens on a regular basis in versions 4.20.12 & .16, however I was previously using .5 and didn't see this issue, so if it did occur it was very rare. The only thing that I changed was the OS.

Thanks for the details. What baud rate are you using? Do you have the handshanking lines (CTS/RTS) connected in this application?

We'll take a look at the port to see what might be going on.
