Hello,

I am using a bitsyxb board and need to take some power measurements for a project. Specifically, I need to measure the voltage sent to the cpu. I know there is a cap possibly labeled U12 that feeds voltage to the cpu. What is the location of this cap?

thanks for your patience

What I am looking for is called the RLC. I need to take power measurements over the resister that corresponds to that.

Thanks for your note. For power measurements you're going to need to know the current going to the CPU. Caps are installed in parallel with power supply planes, so won't help with those measurements. There are also several power supplies for the processor (primarily divided between the CPU core and its IO functions). Are you measuring power consumption of the processing core during its idle and active states?

We don't usually give component-level details about our products, but if you want to drop us a line with details about what you are trying to accomplish, we'll be glad to discuss it with you.
