I noticed on the Sharp website the LQ64D343 display is going obsolete (http://www.sharpsma.com/Page.aspx/americas/en/part/LQ64D343/). I believe this is the default display that ships with the development units.

Sharp lists a suggested alternative of LQ064V3DG01 but unfortunately it is not listed as an ADS supported display. Does anyone have any experience with this display?

You are correct, this is our default display. We have been aware of this for quite some time, and are working out alternatives. Although we have the situation under control, we appreciate you bringing it to our attention.
