The "Developer's Getting Started Guide for Windows CE" mentions a utility called ADSCopy.EXE. Where can I find this? It seems like it might be able to do the job of copying applications and drivers from flash memory into program memory at startup - have not been able to find a way to this with a batch file or shortcut in the \FlashFX Disk\Startup directory, even though I can make a shortcut do this job when I launch it the startup process will not run it.

Is there more information somewhere about ways to configure a dedicated system with a user application permanently installed?

Thanks,

RD

Hi RD,

Thanks for your questions.

- You can find a copy of the ADSCopy app and source code at Eurotech Forum Topic 463
- There are two common places to place your application for permanent storage:
1. FlashFx/System Folder (see Eurotech Forum Topic 188 for more information on this topic)
2. Adsload.exe (see Eurotech Forum Topic 513 and Eurotech Forum Topic 2453 for more information on this topic)
