Perhaps someone could describe Platform Builder, some circumstances that might require it, and how to obtain it?

Platform Builder is used to create a CE OS image like those that you can download from us. With Platform Builder you can add in additional files, like drivers or applications, to the OS build. To do so, you need a Board Support Package (BSP) which we offer as a product (contact our sales staff for more information and pricing).

Platform Builder requires experience to use fully and ADS removes the need for and associated headaches of using Platform Builder by providing the compiled images for you.
