We're developing a speech recognition device. I've seen a few articles about the Phraselator product, which seems to be similar to what we're developing. Do you have more information about CE features it uses?

Hi Ana. The Phraselator uses a custom board similar to the Bitsy. It was designed with an AC97 codec and special attention on audio clarity. The Bitsy Plus incorporates many of the audio improvements found on the Phraselator board.

As far as CE features used, the Phraselator uses the CE speech APIs (SAPIs) along with proprietary technology developed by SRI. I believe they are licensing their technology, if you're interested in getting a jump start on a speech recognition product. Contact us if you'd like to talk to them about it.
