What is the function of the USB_Reconnect signal on the personality board? It is tied to J3-33, which is LEDOUT0 on BitsyX. (I'm building a custom connector board, and I don't understand the function of this signal.)
Here's the scoop (excerpted from the BitsyX user manual 110115-00032 posted at topic 884):
Revisions 2 and later of the BitsyX add the USB_RECONN signal to J3, pin 33. This signal interupts power to the 1.5k pull-up, simulating a cable disconnection to the USB host controller. This signal can be used to force the host to re-enumerate the BitsyX (e.g. after wakeup).
We strongly recommend that if you are using the USB ports, you use the same hardware we have used on our personality boards. This ensures that your hardware will work with standard operating system builds for the product you are using. You can find the schematic and bill of material for the rev A Bitsy personality board at topic 408.
