Hi folks,

My mouse pointer goes away when I install 4.10.19 on my Bitsy-X board. The mouse is working, though (eg, I can right-click and get a properties pull-down menu). When I revert back to 4.10.18, the pointer reappears.

I've tried the forum suggestion of setting 0xC0000F44 to 0x1 in the .hwt file with no luck.

I'd like to stay with 4.10.19, as it has some fixes that I need. But I need the mouse, too.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!
Jim

Hi Jim,
Use 4.10.21 and enable mouse pointer in the reg file.
Thanks
Steven

After upgrading from 4.10.21 to 4.2.1 the mouse pointer also goes away, even after setting the regestry value on the BitsyX.

I have a BitsyX with BitsyX CE V4.10.21 (CE.NET 4.10 Build 908). The mouse pointer ( sprite ) does not show using a USB mouse. This is probably due to the touch panel driver being active. How do I activate the mouse pointer sprite within the registry??? Is there another way. Do I have the right OS version?

Thanks for checking in about this, t0671dl (are you related to thx-1138?). You should be able to turn on the mouse pointer in adsload.reg using the following entry:

  [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\Display\Intel]
    "EnableMouseCursor"=dword:1

Mouse Pointer Driver Status

The mouse pointer didn't work in build 4.10.19, but we corrected it and can vouch for it working in .21, .23 and .27.

Our CE.NET 4.2 images don't support the mouse pointer yet (ADS builds 4.20.00 and .01). There are some issues in the USB driver that we still have to work out but we'll post to this topic when we get it straightened out.
