I have a device connected to port 3 on the AGX board.
If the device is on and sending data when I power on the AGX it seems that it will not boot up properly. Connecting the device after boot up works with no problems.

I have changed default debug port to be port 2.

Is this a known issue? Either with data at boot up or with the reasignment of the debug port.

I have not put a lot of time into investigating this. I do know that it is not consistent though. I have been able to boot up normaly with the device connected.

I have looked a bit more at this.

For me the board fails to start about 50% of the time when I have the device connected (in this case a GPS). I have not tried any other ports.

I am having the same issue with my debug port re-assigned to COM 1 and a GSM modem on COM 3.
It all works fine if the modem is set to communicate at 9600 baud, but if I increase the speed CE starts only 50% of the time.
