PXE boot CE image install?

I've read about some people using PXE to install images on CE devices over the network. I had hoped this would be possible with the BitsyX but I've seen nothing on it.

We have a number of systems that will need an image loaded on them during their initial build and from time to time with updates. It would be nice to change a jumper that would make the board attempt a PXE boot and subsequent download of an image to the device.

How feasible would something like this be in the future?

Take a look at ADSImageUpdate to see if it, or some derivative, might meet your needs. If you need something more custom, such as at the boot-loader level, contact our Sales staff via email or phone at (301)490-4007.

Thanks for the information. We were hoping for something that would be able to do installs with no prior software load or external connections beyond DIP/jumper settings and an ethernet cable. KITL image uploads are about as close as we can come right now but AFAIK it's a CE ony thing.

We might be in contact in the future if the priority of this bumps up again.
