VGX User's manual Section 3.4.9 LCD Display 2mm Connector indicates the voltage level to power the LCD panel on pins 29, 30 can be controlled by setting JP3 appropriately.

It does not work.

JP3 does effect the data and clock levels (either 3.3V or 5V) but not the overall power to the display (always stuck at 5V).

How do I get power to the LCD to be 3.3V?

There is a typo in section 3.4.9 of the VGX manual. It should read "JP1".

Set the panel power with JP1 (per sections 3.3.1, 4.8.3 and 6.2.4).
