In looking for a low-profile ethernet card for the Bitsy Plus, I came across the socketcomm low-power CF ethernet card. While I am able to make the hawking card work properly, I'm having a bit of trouble with the drivers for the socketcomm card that came from the manufacturer.

Has anyone had issues with this card in the past? Can you offer any insight or information about drivers?

I'm going to give it another shot in a few minutes and I'll note exactly where and when I start to have problems. Primarily, the problems stem from the windows driver side; it recognizes the card insertion, but doesn't really do much after that.

Are you using CE 4.1 on your Bitsy Plus? The failure to connect might be related to the details described on the SocketComm site at

Yes, I am using CE4.1 on the Bitsy Plus. It would seem that the socketcom articles mentioned are exactly what I was looking for in terms of an answer. Thank you very much.
