I am still trying to get my VB.Net created .exe to launch properly. After a myriad of troubles related to the FlashFX disk (my topic 1932), I am to the point of having the same problem as topic 1517.

The .exe will launch only under one of these two scenerios.
1. While the IDE is connected and has previosly run the program in debug mode.

or

2. I re-install the build from a compact flash (same version). (I don't even touch my EXE in the FlashFX disk.)

build is 4.20.27 pro

exe won't start on first system startup

but after Smart Device Authentification with VS.Net 2003 it start well

does the same with GCX 4.20.5

my exe is not on the FlashFX disk, the exe is on the PCMCIA card

Thanks

I do not know if this is relevant or helpful, but we have found that our VB.net application never starts on its own after connecting our BitsyX device to the VB.net environment unless we manually erase the persistant registry. So, after every time we finish working with the VB.net environment, we reboot the BitsyX, go to Control Panel, Persistant Registry, then select erase. Then the executable that we have left in the FlashFX will execute.
