Until recently we received Vulcan board that were identified as : VULCAN V1 I5 @2005 B, but the last shipments were : VULCAN V1 I5 @2005 C
Given the errors messages generated once we tried to work with them, we suspected that the memory chip as been changed.
We would appreciate having detailed informations about that modification level 'C'.
Thank you |

Hello Yves,
I'm investigating this for you and will email you the ECO details for the Revision B and C of the Vulcan.
In short, one modification was a change of Processor part, and the other was a change of the Flash part.
So yes, I believe you are correct that a Rev C board will have a different onboard Flash part than your previous ones did.
Thank you, ~Russ |

Could you give us a brief sample of some of the error messages you are seeing? Also what operating system are you using? |

Hello, Following a 'Make.jffs2', this error message appears : 'CLEANMARKER node found at 0x00050000, not first node in block (0x0040000)'. For both Redboot and Linux. Thank you |
