I have a vector board, and I am trying to access the keypad/GPIO. It is on address 0x68 (Write) 0x69 (Read). I need to configure one pin as a input, and another as an output. But to do this I need the chip that is used on this board, or more specifics about the GPIO than the users manual has.

Please help,
Thanks

I found the solution. It was in the manual at the bottom of page 37 stating that the keypad was using a TCA8418 Chip from texas instruments. Heres the datasheet for those using this in the future. http://www.ti.com/litv/pdf/scps215b

Thanks for your note.

Keypad scanning on the Vector is performed by the TI TCA8418 part.

(looks like our answers crossed in the mail :)
