The XScale PXA255 and the quad UART ADS uses on its products supports up to 230400 baud rate on all serial ports. The XScale Bluetooth UART supports up to 921600 baud.
The operating system determines what baud rates are supported. Windows CE supports conventional baud rates up to 115200 baud. Linux supports standard baud rates, plus direct control of the hardware clock divisor to allow non-standard baud rates.
Note that baud rate is not the same as sustained throughput, which varies depending on the load on the system, CPU speed, and other factors. Higher baud rates almost always require hardware handshaking to ensure that data is not lost.
