Q: I am using TFTP (Trivial FTP) to transfer files, but my connection sometimes times out.

TFTP (Trivial FTP) uses UDP, which does not support packet reconstruction. In networks that have more traffic, you should use FTP, which uses TCP. For definitions and further information, you may consult http://whatis.com.
