How do I get my Belkin wireless card to work?

Older Belkin wireless cards use a chip set that is compatible with the 802.11 drivers provided in the linux kernel source code. Beginning with F5D6020 ver.2, they swithced to an Atmel chip set. Fortunately, Atmel has GPL'd their driver and you can download it from SourceForge.net. (You can also visit wireless.org.au for more information.)

To compile the driver for our boards, download version 2.1.1 of the driver and apply our patch. Then follow the instructions in the ADSREADME file.

8/24/2004 Note: Belkin ver.3 is a 32 bit card bus card incompatible with SA1110 and PXA255 hardware. Check carefully before purchasing Belkin cards - make sure you get ver.2 or ver.1.
