Q. My Cisco Aironet 802.11b card seems to initialize ok on my GC Plus, and I can ping it ok from a PC. However, when I try to ping out, I get the following error reported on the debug port:
PING: transmit failed, error code 11010
How can I resolve this?
A. We've seen this with some wireless Ethernet cards. We've found that disabling the onboard Ethernet takes care of the issue. The registry key change is:
  [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\SMC90001\Parms]     "DoNotInstall"=dword:1      1=do not install Ethernet driver
