Anyone have a list of environmental tests done on the bitsy-x board?

We perform system tests over temperature on all our drivers. Do you have a specific test in mind? Drop us a note and we can send you the details you need!

RTCA/DO-160D, various sections, including EMI/RFI (Susceptibility, conducted and radiated, and Emitted conducted and radiated)

I guess I am interested in any tests other than thermal.

Thanks for clarifying. We incorporate many EMI/RFI-reducing features in our products and many products in the field using the BitsyX have successfully completed FCC and CE emissions and susceptibility tests as part of their design cycle. Because ADS supplies only the single-board computer and not fully-integrated systems, we can't provide meaningful system-level emissions test results.

Here are some areas to watch when integrating the BitsyX into a system:
- Keep cable lengths short, especially ones to LCD displays
- Terminate high-frequency signals
- Use EMI fences around the edge of daughter boards
- You may need to shield backlight inverters, which can be quite electrically noisy

You might also find the table of crystal frequencies in the user manual to be useful when you prepare your system for certification.
