We just upgraded our system from BitsyPlus to BitsyX. I have two questions: 1)I tried to display BitsyX's files(like ADS.HWT, ADS.REG) under its debug mode but could not find the feature(6]Display Files in the Flash) from the debug window. I used this feature with BitsyPlus. So what is the way to do it with BitsyX? 2)I tried download recommended CE image file(CE 4.10.35 or .36), but there are not recommended Config files on the same screen. So where could I find latest config files to be downloaded?
Thanks a lot,

Thanks for your message. Here are some answers:
1. The CE launcher for the BitsyX and our other latest CE releases now copies the ADSLOAD.REG and .HWT files to the \Temp folder of the CE file system. There is no longer a need to go to the debug menu for these files. If you are using an older build of CE that doesn't have this feature, you can use the ADSLoadExtract.exe application to put a copy of those files in the \Temp folder.
2. If there's no recommended configuration listed for a particular build, it just means that we may not have explicitly tested that build with a particular set of configuration files. Just look back at previous releases for that product (usually ones of the same size).
In this case you'll see that 16 MiB build 4.10.33, released a couple weeks before 4.10.36, uses configuration file 700115-0700C. That same configuration will work with 16 MiB build 4.10.36. |

Thanks for the reply. Now I am able to check the config files in Windows\temp folder, but when I upgrade the CE image(CE 4.10.36) and recommended config files to the BitsyX device I still get the trouble. The massage I've got from the debug mode window during downloading is:

What is wrong?

I had the same problem. Cured it by upgrading adsload.rom to the latest version (1.10), but I can't say why it made the difference! |

Thanks stave, I upgraded adsload.rom with the latest version (1.10) to my system, but nothing is changed. The same problem is still there. I don't know what can I do now, should I try CE.NET 4.20? I really appreciate if I could get the help either from ADS or from somebody else! My phone number here is 425-291-0044
Thanks,

Sorry for the interruption. I tried to upgrade again and this time when I removed CF card and reboot the system after a couple of minutes, I was surprised to get system worked even I didn't find the CE version number to be shown on the debug window druing the downloading.
Thanks a lot, |
