Can someone please tell me what are the advantages of having the Epson S1D13806F00A1 Graphics IC used on AGX , as opposed to Xscale display controller . Is the efficiency better, no flickering or what.

Please Help for I am ordering AGX boards with these IC's without knowing the benefit.
