Buying MAC Addresses

If you are developing a product that has an Ethernet controller on it (like the Bitsy Personality Board), you're going to need to program each board with a MAC (Media Access Control) address. MAC addresses uniquely identify each Ethernet network device.

It's cheap and easy to purchase your own block of MAC addresses (US$550 for 4096 addresses). See the following links for further details:

Pre-Programmed Parts

In volume production, it's not usually practical or reliable to program parts manually. Eurotech purchases pre-programmed parts for its assemblies.

If you have designed a product with one of our products and could make use of pre-programmed parts, contact us with the details of your application and we will be glad to help.
