CompactFramework Version in Your CE Build

To determine the version number of the CompactFramework included in your build of CE, run the \Windows\cgacutil.exe application on your CE device.

Use the table at shown below to match the returned build number to the Microsoft service pack releases.

2.0.5056.0 = CF 2.0 (BETA 2)
2.0.5238.0 = CF 2.0 (24.5 MB)
2.0.6103.0 = CF 2.0 SP1 Beta
2.0.6129.0 = CF 2.0 SP1 (16.7 MB, patch to 2.0)
2.0.7045.0 = CF 2.0 SP2
