Locating Microsoft QFEs

Microsoft provides regular updates to Windows CE via an update program for Platform Builder. Fixes are released in monthly installments and are often refered to as QFEs (Quick Fix Engineering).

Eurotech updates its CE build machines regularly with update packages.

Not all knowledgebase articles get fixes. As the monthly update download page explains, "To qualify for consideration for an update, a problem needs to cause an excessive amount of work and not have a reasonable workaround."
