Anyone have a solution for playing video on a Windows form?

I'd like small video clips to be used integrated into the application (not launching media player externally) like a control.

I'm flexible as to the video format, limiting it only to a format that works...

Thanks,

ctacke

Take a look at this MSDN Article on ActiveX Hosting.

Currently I only have access to media player 9 (I'm running on the VGX platform). It is my understanding that wmp9 on CE is not an activex control and as such I don't have an activex control to use.

Are there others (non wmp activex controls) available to play video? or can I install wmp 10 on my VGX?

ctacke is correct, that MSDN article should help. I've successfully used it with WMP9 in the WIndows Mobile 2003 SE Emulator. Besides, I've been able to embed Media Player into IE, so surely that's proof the ocx is around.

However, I'm having problems running even the samples which work fine in my emulators on my BitsyXb. THread above this one details that struggle.
