Q: I would like to create a daughter card to piggyback on your product. What connectors can I use to mate to your 2mm headers?

ADS uses Samtec STMM series 2mm headers on its products. These headers mate with both cables and board-to-board connectors (ADS doesn't use LTMM series headers because they only mate with board-to-board connectors).

The sockets ADS uses in its current products include:
2x15: STMM-115-02-T-D (GC Plus, G Master)
2x17: STMM-117-02-T-D (Bitsy)
2x20: STMM-120-02-T-D (GC Plus, G Master)
2x25: STMM-125-02-T-D (Bitsy, G Master)

Note that ADS can populate other plating options in volume production.

Samtec's ESQT elevated socket series mates with the STMM headers on ADS products.

Application example: Bitsy Connector Board
The Bitsy Connector Board reference design uses the ESQT-125-02-F-D-500 elevated sockets. The sockets are 25 pins per row, double row, gold flash, with a board-to-top body height of 0.500 inches. Use a 9/16 inch standoff between boards for positive contact.
