I have noticed that on our application running on GCP/Ce 3.0, calling SetLocalTime after sleep mode is taking about 120 ms. The same, running on GCX/CE 5.0.0.23, takes about 2 seconds. This adds an unacceptable delay when the system is wake up by a customer trying to use it.

I assume that this is related to the RTC. I would like to know the reasons for this delay, and if it can be reduced. Can we disable the RTC update on the GCX?

Any information that can be helpful in explaining and reducing this delay will be much appreciated; we need to release on-street as soon as possible.

Thank you for your post. Can you please give us some information on why you need to call SetLocalTime after sleep/wake?
