Hi,
What are the requirements for booting off CF card on the Catalyst LP board? It shipped with a 4GB card that works fine, but I bought an 8GB card that doesn't work at all. Is there a BIOS limitation for size, or specific cards, or something else?
Thanks, Johannes |

There are no BIOS limtations, no size limitations, or any known specific cards requirements.

Are you able to read the contents of the card, or is the card not recognized at all? Does the card enumerate when inserted? |

The same card boots fine in a USB card reader. It's actually an identical image to the 4GB card that works fine -- I just copied it to the 8GB card with dd. I was going to enlarge the partitions but haven't even done that yet.
If I boot off the old card in a USB reader, I can read the new card in the CF slot as well. |

However, the card does not enumerate in the BIOS setup screen. |

I am also facing same issue. I have Sandisk Ultra 8GB CF card. This card is not detected at all by BIOS. I have tried it on couple of Eurotech platforms. The card shipped with platform works fine.

For me
I tried to use Sandisk Ultra 8GB CF card. 1. The card is not recognised at all on the platform. 2. This card does not enumurate at all when platform is booted from other media (USB in my case)
