After installing the ADS SDK I cannot see any ADS device in the C# project settings.
Should I choose Windows CE device or did I do something wrong during installation?

In the Tech Preview, the device showed up as "IEGM Device". Due to some changes with the Beta, installing the SDK no longer shows that SDK in the list. At present we're researching the issue with Microsoft.

I was able to connect to the device using "Windows CE Device" once, but since then have been having difficulties. Currently I compile the app and transfer it to the device via CF card.

What do you do about debugging?

Until we get the issue resolved, I'm using Console.WriteLine().

have the debugging issues been resolved yet?

The debugging issues are due to the Smart Device Extensions, so expect the state of debugging managed code not to change until Microsoft officially releases the SDE.

Do you know if the issue has been resolved in the Everett beta?

I've not installed the Everett beta yet, but my understanding is that the CF in it is the Beta 1 with the web service fixes found in the gotdotnet MapPoint demo. I don't think that any changes to the SDE were made between the Beta 1 release and that included in the Everett beta.
