Registry entries made programatically are lost after the system reboots. Is the registry stored in RAM? I am trying to save application settings to the registry. These cannot be put into the ADSLoad.reg file.

Just like any CE device, modifications to the registry are saved in RAM and a hard-reset will flush those changes.

If you have your device attached to a battery for primary or backup power, you can put the device into hibernate/sleep mode. This is analogous to pressing the power button on a commercial Windows CE PDAs. The device does not actually shut off, but draws minimal power to maintain application and memory state.
