Hi,

I'm trying to locate the list of supported 802.11 devices.
My customer is planning to run Linux.

Thanks for your post, Matt. We have some notes about 802.11 cards on our Third Party Products topic.

Linux users have successfully used Cisco and Lucent cards with our products. Your customers will be interested in the Linux wireless topic for details about how to include the drivers in their Linux builds.

I have looked for the "Compex ReadyPort" listed in your supported third part products list without success. That product doesn't appear to be listed on the Compex site, nor anywhere at any store on the net.

Do you have a specific part number for this card?

Is there another readily available PCMCIA network card that you can recommend?

Thanks for the heads up on the Compex product. It looks like it's been taken off the shelves.

As noted on the Third Party Products page, we've found the Hawking Ethernet card to be a very good wired Ethernet solution. You can slip it into a CF-to-PCMCIA adapter for use in a PCMCIA slot.

(For others reading this post, note that the Compex and Hawking cards are for 802.3 wired Ethernet, while the original post pertained to 802.11b wireless Ethernet.)
