I am no longer able to get my development code to download via ethernet to the target, Graphics Client, under Configure Platform, I can test the TCP/IP connection, it works, the Remote tools, connect using ethernet, Remote Spy++ for example, but the test code and deugger no longer use the ethernet port. I've tried ActiveSync 3.1 and now 3.5, with the same results, the downloads always default to the serial port. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure I understand what's happening. When you're connected via ActiveSync using Ethernet, when you try to debug it's attempting to use the serial port? How have you determined it's using the serial port instead of Ethernet? What type of messages or errors is Platform Manager reporting? What transport type are you using with Platform Manager?

eVT uses your selected transport layer, typically through ActiveSync, and therefore the physical layer should be irrelevant.

I know it's downloading via serial, because it's extremely slow, I was working with this code about a month ago, and the download and debugging were extremely fast, now it's a dog.. I have Platform Manager configured with 'TCP/IP Transport for Windows CE', under the advanced settings I have selected server 'Microsoft ActiveSync', the manual says to use 'Manual Server', but I cannot get that server to connect.
