We're looking at using a different display for our system, but have had some trouble finding datasheets for LCDs on the web. Do you have any suggestions?
Your first line of communication is usually with your panel sales rep. They can to help match your application's price/performance requirements to panels available on the market. They may also have advance information not available elsewhere and can guide you with information about what technologies are in the company's roadmap.
Your next best bet is to try manufacturers' web sites. Also, many panel reps keep well-stocked sites with the information you are looking for. One such source is http://www.lcdspecifications.com/ .
FYI: You may find that complete electronic datasheets for the Sharp LQ64D343, which we use on our evaluation systems, are hard to come by. You can refer to datasheets for the LQ64D341, its compatible predecessor, for relevant information.
