Q: Can I drive 8-wire touch screens with your products?

Sure. Connect the "excite" lines of your eight-wire touch panel to the four wires of your ADS product's touch screen controller.

Note that eight-wire panels are often used with larger displays. If you are bumping up the size of your touch panel, you may need to increase the timings for the touch panel driver to have acceptable responsiveness.(*)

(*) For Windows CE, try increasing the [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\TOUCH] "SamplePeriodHighHns" entry in the the adsload.reg file by up to 50%.
