Q: When I play the sound file I recorded, CE plays the sound too slowly. What's going on?

There was an error in older builds of CE that played audio files at the wrong rate. Try loading a more recent build of CE onto your system (July 2001 or later).
Your sound file may have been recorded as a compressed WAV file. Make sure the file is recorded as uncompressed 8-bit PCM mono.
