Turbo G5 Development System User Manual (rev A PDF 990 kB)

The Turbo G5 is a highly integrated, general-purpose computing module based on the Freescale i.MX31 multimedia applications processor. The module mates with an application-specific, EPIC form factor carrier board to complete the development system.

The Turbo G5 module features:
  • i.MX31 processor (ARM1136JF-S core)

  • Vector floating point coprocessor

  • Video encoding accelerator

  • 128 MB mobile DDR memory

  • 32 MB NAND flash

The module mates to the Development System Carrier board, which features:
  • Gigabit Ethernet

  • SD/MMC, CompactFlash

  • USB host and client

  • EIA-232 ports

  • AC'97 codec and amplifier

  • CAN 2.0b

  • Digital LCD interface, analog touch panel interface, backlight control

  • Keypad input and digital I/Os
