I'm trying to communicate with the BitsyX using TTL logic levels. I'm able to receive from the BitsyX but I cannot transmit. Does anybody know if this is a jumper issue? If they are idead not compatible, what can I do in order to get this to work? Thanks!

To convert from 5V logic levels of the Stamp's serial transmitter to the PXA255's 3.3V level, you'll need to use a voltage divider or level shifters.

For reliable operation on the Stamp's receiver side, you might also want to confirm that the Stamp Vih(min) is <= 3.0V (0.6*Vcc).

Thanks for your posts at topics 1346, 1347 and 1350. I'm going to respond here to keep the information all in one place.

You are correct that the jumper settings for JP5 and JP6 are incorrect in the user manual. Take a look at the manual errata for details. I've updated that post with the jumper setting details listed in the rev A schematics.
