Hi

Can I turn off the display screen during boot time?

My idea is to have the display off during the boot, then after the image is loaded, launch my application and when ready turn on the screen.

My system is BitsyX with CE 4.10.27.

Do i need a specific boot code or the standard (version 1.07) can do ?

In the case of standard boot code, what should i do ? (modification in adsload.hwt or adsload.reg?)

Thanks for any help

Eric,

Let me get this right, you want to have the screen off (black) until your application launched, then turn the screen back ON?

If that so, then the boot code needs to be modified so that it turn off screen at the start up, then after your application is launched, it can turn the screen back ON via the API calls. This feature will required custom engineering works at nominal cost. If you interested, please contact our ADS Sales Department.
