I am designing the AGX board into a system and need some additional information.

Questions:

What is the power requirement for the +5V Power Supply?
What is the optional +3.3 V input power for?
What is the function of VPERM on J2? Is this for a battery backup to maintain the date and time? If so, what are the power requirements on this signal?
What is the part number for the mating connector for J2
What is the part number for the mating connector for J13
What is the part number for the mating connector for J17
On the CAN bus interface, are there any termination or pull up/down resistors on the AGX board?

Thanks in advance!

You're right that the AGX User's Manual is still missing those specs. We'll update it soon.

Some measurements we have from preliminary tests included the following (5.0V input):
- 440 mA (2.2W) with CE idle
- 560 mA (2.8W) with CPU running full power

Sleep current is high on the AGX, I think due to the USB host chip. I don't have numbers for sleep mode in front of me.

Power supply: Artesyn SCL25-7618
Please note that this power supply is going end of life so we don't recommend it for production.

Edited 3-Aug-2005 19:05: Add power measurements.
