The SmartIO functions described in the SmartIO documentation look helpful. How do I use them from an eVB application?

We've created a module with wrapper functions around a lot of the ADSmartIO library and a sample application that uses them. Download the sample code here.

The eVB code intended for eVB 3.0 does not appear suiteable for CE.NET. I rebuilt the application but the project will not load because the platform identified with the eVB project properties does not match the target system. I will probably rewrite the application in eVC4.0 as time permits.

Unfortunately eVB is unsupported by Microsoft on any CE 4.x device that is not specifically a Pocket PC 2003 and even there Microsoft highly encourages moving to VB.NET.

We do have a ADSmartIO wrapper for VB.NET at Topic 895
