Does the bitsy board have a hardware protection in case you wrongly connect the battery/DC power supply (Swapping + and -)?

Yes, the main Bitsy power input (DCIN_POS, Bitsy J3.44) has a series diode for reverse-connection protection. However, the battery input (VBATT_POS, J3.38) does not.

If your customers might plug in battery power backwards, you should consider protecting the system yourself. One way to do this is to use a series fuse followed by a reverse-biased diode across the lines.

Is there a typo here? Should the battery input be (VBATT_POS, J3.38)?
