I am trying to get started with the graphics client plus and will be developing on the gcx. I am having trouble getting connected with active sync. I am not using a development system but rather a production unit with win ce 3.0. I have downloaded embedded tools 3 but can find hpc 2000 sdk anywhere on the web. Could someone point me in the right direction. I have read all the manuals and i still cannot get started. What am I overlooking?

Windows CE 3.0 is very old. Most of the tools are outdated, and several (like ActiveSync) didn't work well in the first place. If you must use eVC 3.0, I highly recommend using a direct manual TCP debugging connection by running cemgrce.exe on the device and not even trying with ActiveSync.

A better move would be to update your GCPlus to CE 4.2 - at least the tools are a little newer (though I'd still make a manual connection, not ActiveSync). The images are here and the tools are here.
