While trying to debug using CE 5.0 and Visual Studio 2005 I get a connection failed 0x8973151A message. This has worked in the past, but I haven't tried it in a few months. The device is available on ethernet (I can ping it) and the IP address is correct.
Any clue what this message is? What can I do to figure this out?
Thanx! |

Hi Tim, thank you for your question.
The first thing to check is whether you have been following our setup procedure for debugging over ethernet, found under forum topic 2201.
The next thing to check is whether you are using the same build as before?
Another thing to do is to make sure that you have disabled your Windows Firewall on your PC. |

Have you, by chance, installed Studio 2008 on the same development PC since it was working? |

Yes I have. I'm using VS 2005, but I have VS 2008 installed. It was working fine before installation. Now it is not working. |

You may need to recopy the files found here: C: Program Files -> Common Files -> Microsoft Shared -> CoreCon -> 1.0-> Target -> wce400 -> armv4i
Onto the following location in the device: My Device -> Windows
Then continue with the process found under forum topic 2201.
