Hi. I recently recieved a Sphere II. It was working fine for a few days. Yesterday, I tried to copy a file to internal flassh (FlashFx Disk). Explorer Froze. When I rebooted, it would get to the point where it normally executes the programs stored in the Startup folder in 'FlashFx Disk', then it never progresses further. I monitored the debug output using a serial cable. Has anyone seen this before? Is it indicative of a hardware failure? I was tempted to erase sectors of internal flash, but I was not bold enough to do this. Here's my terminal output:

The suggestion to this customer was to format FlashFX either from the boot menu, or by loading a CE image with a different size than the existing one, which would trigger a format of the FlashFX disk. This has solved the problem. |
